Program Overview

Join My Shepherd Ministry Uganda and help fight hunger in rural communities where many children and families struggle to access nutritious meals. Food insecurity affects children's health, school attendance, and their ability to learn and thrive. As a volunteer, you will support our school feeding program, community gardens, and sustainable farming activities. Help plant and harvest crops, prepare meals for children, distribute food to vulnerable families, and teach basic nutrition and food preservation practices. Your efforts will provide immediate relief while helping communities build long-term food security. No previous experience is required—just compassion, a willingness to learn, and a desire to serve. You'll work alongside local staff and community members, experience authentic Ugandan culture, and make meaningful connections while creating lasting change. Together, we can help ensure that every child has the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
