Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to all the most common questions about Mondify.
Do I need to know Spanish?
Undoubtedly, knowing Spanish is an advantage. However, for most projects, it is not a necessary requirement. The important thing is that you feel comfortable communicating with people, and it is usually easy to communicate between Italian and Spanish speakers. In some cases, we can provide translation support.
Moreover, we also organize Spanish courses. What better opportunity to improve your language skills?
What are the required qualifications?
There are no special requirements. We want this to be an opportunity to learn and to help. Depending on the project you choose, you will receive initial training, and we will follow you throughout the activities. Additionally, we strive to define your role according to your preferences. Of course, there are exceptions based on the project.
Are there age limits?
Our projects are open to everyone aged 16 and older. People of all ages, from 10 to 60 years old, are welcome to join us. Everyone experiences the adventure based on their background, but the beautiful aspect is that relationships are created regardless of any age difference. For minors, parental authorization is required.
Why should I choose Mondify?
We are directly present in both Argentina and Ecuador. We oversee our projects in person, pay attention to community needs, and monitor activities. Our local presence also provides a greater sense of security for you. We will welcome you at the airport and support you throughout your stay.
Why do I have to pay to volunteer?
The costs are necessary to ensure the perfect organization of your experience. We commit to professionalism and continuity in our projects. Organizing your placement requires energy and resources, including providing flexibility, training, and ensuring support, which is only possible thanks to our specialized staff.

I had been dreaming of doing a volunteering project abroad for many years. This dream probably started when I was a teenager. But perhaps like many women in my generation, I got married, had two children, and am now a grandma enjoying a quiet life in a house I bought for my retirement in the backcountry of the Province of Quebec, Canada. I am a healthy person. I can use all my physical, manual, and artistic skills every day, besides part-time jobs, which I will talk about later.
