Designed in partnership with the American School of the Hague and centered around Global Intercultural Citizenship, Week Without Walls gives students the chance to address a challenging question surrounding one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We do this through the pre-departure preparation and on-site execution of a community-based service project in the charming town of Agnone. Week Without Walls is a fun and otherwise unavailable learning experience that allows students to connect knowledge gained in school with real-world service and forge relationships both within their group and with their host community.
Program Highlights
Take the pre-departure, virtual Intercultural Citizenship seminars and Global Competence Certificate program.
Study contextual Italian language mini-lessons, focused on practical and relevant language tasks.
Join cultural, historical, and outdoor activities, as well as customized hands-on experiences.
Work on a community-based project in collaboration with a local school and comune.
Benefit from an inclusive program fee with accommodation in a local hostel, hotel, or B&B; all meals; and all local transportation, including pick-up at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport.

I had a great time
March 22, 2023by: Avery Frontczak - United StatesProgram: Molise Italian Studies Week Without Walls ProgramI truly enjoyed every moment of the journey I went on while in Agnone. The trip left me fairly immersed in the local culture. The locals I met were kind and helpful, as well as Scott and Megan Holcomb.
