Mokolodi Nature Reserve, located just outside Gaborone, Botswana, offers an immersive wildlife conservation programme designed for university students and individuals interested in environmental science, ecology, and conservation.

This programme provides participants with a unique opportunity to gain practical insight into conservation work in a semi-arid ecosystem. Activities may include rhino tracking, wildlife monitoring using camera traps, vulture conservation and rehabilitation, soil erosion mitigation, and sanctuary management.

Mokolodi operates on three key pillars: environmental education, conservation, and sustainable tourism. Participants will engage with experienced staff and visiting conservation professionals, gaining exposure to real-world challenges such as habitat degradation, human-wildlife conflict, and species protection.
