Margret Charitable Organisation

We founded Margret’s Orphanage Center in Uganda in 2010 to give hope and support to orphans and vulnerable children who lack basic opportunities in life. For over 15 years, we have worked in the Wakiso District to provide shelter, food, education, healthcare, and guidance to children in need. After our founder Margret Nakibirango passed away in 2017, we continued her dream through the care of her family and a dedicated group of volunteer mothers who give daily support and mentorship.

Our work focuses on helping Ugandan orphans and young mothers build better futures. We support children living at our center and in foster homes, ensuring they receive meals, basic education, and emotional care. We also help young mothers gain skills and confidence so they can support their families and contribute to their communities. Our goal is to protect the rights of vulnerable children, give them access to education, and help them grow into independent, hopeful adults.
