Manna Project International (MPI) is working on the frontline in Latin America to reduce global poverty through education, health, and livelihoods programs. We create communities of young leaders that help break the cycle of poverty in underserved communities in Ecuador. Manna Project’s holistic development initiatives are built on a foundation of trust, commitment, and community ownership.
As a diverse and united team, our long-term volunteers live and work within the communities they serve. Our volunteer program is open to current college students and college graduates for five months, seven months, or 13 months in communities outside of Quito, Ecuador. During their term of service, volunteers will get the opportunity to practice their Spanish, travel around the country and throughout Latin America, build cross-cultural relationships with community members that will last a lifetime, and be developed as future leaders in the non-profit and international development sectors.
