Program Overview
This program has a truly positive impact on impoverished children and their families. The group behind it desperately seeks volunteers to help implement a comprehensive approach to preschool educational policies and programs for children from birth to six years old, with the active participation of their parents and caregivers.
Unemployed women within the local community have established home-based crèches. Some women from this group have never received formal Early Childhood Development training and operate with limited resources. Thus, volunteer help is essential to the viability of these projects and is greatly appreciated. They welcome flexible individuals who love working with children, have lots of patience, and are willing to help wherever needed. Interested volunteers must also understand the local community situation and challenges associated with these placements.
