Equine Therapy Program in Ecuador

This program in Quito is crucial to the lives of people with medical issues and disabilities. Hippotherapy (horses) and canotherapy (dogs) are recognized worldwide as effective in physical, mental, and emotional rehabilitation. These help develop the patient's balance, coordination, orientation, and rhythm while giving them a sense of achievement and an emotional connection with the animal they are working with.

Volunteers contribute their time and energy to the animals involved in this program. They provide quality attention, ensuring the animals are well-fed and cared for. They also work directly with patients during therapy sessions. Without their support, the project wouldn't be sustainable and able to continue conducting therapy sessions for those who need it most.
