Perfect for travellers who want to learn Mandarin while exploring China, this 1–4 week program combines personalised one-to-one lessons, accommodation with breakfast in your teacher’s home, a day trip led by your teacher, and the opportunity to experience China like a local.

Our Travel Immersion Program includes 10 hours of tailored Chinese lessons per week, combining structured lessons with outdoor sessions that use real-world settings such as markets, cafés, and shops as your classroom. You’ll learn practical Mandarin for everyday travel situations, from ordering food and using public transport to asking for directions and exploring local neighbourhoods.

During the day trip, you’ll put your Mandarin into practice while exploring local landmarks, learning about Chinese history and culture, and discovering the region from your teacher’s local perspective.

With 12 destinations across China, you can stay in one location or create a multi-city journey, living with a different teacher each week and experiencing different regions. The program can be personalised with extra lessons, meal options, cultural activities, or local experiences to match your interests and language goals.
