If a full semester isn’t an option, the University of Limerick’s Summer School offers the perfect alternative—a dynamic three- or eight-week (STEM Summer Research*) program in the heart of Ireland’s scenic mid-west. Earn 3 US credits while studying subjects like Irish Studies, Business, Law, Health Sciences, and Sports Science. 

* Engineering students in their sophomore or junior year (preferably) with a strong GPA can join the STEM Summer Research.

Beyond academics, the program includes guided excursions to some of Ireland’s most iconic attractions, such as the Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Castle, Bunratty Castle, Folk Park, and Dublin. 

Students live on-campus in UL’s modern student villages, with private bedrooms, shared living spaces, and easy access to lectures and sports facilities. Dedicated management teams and 24-hour security ensure a safe, vibrant, and enriching experience.
