July 04, 2025by: Anna R - ItalyProgram: Kindergarten Teaching in Ubud, BaliI went for four weeks in Bali to teach English in a kindergarten to children. I made it throug games and exercises. They were very friendly and respectful. They have immediately considered me as their teacher. They knew very little English but all that I had to do was smile and use gestures. For any help I could asked to the teacher who knew English. One week the school was closed for a celebration so I cleaned a beach and I started a new activitie to renovate a school. I also participated at a celebration and it was very interesting! It was a really good experience that I suggest for everyone! Local team was fun and helpful. I ate local food but not only and everything was delicious! Every Thursday there was a special dinner with all the staff and the volunteers! My accomodation was simple but good.
