Anyone can make a difference in this program, from skilled tradesmen or handymen/women to anyone else. You’ll join ongoing and existing projects with local tradesmen in Ubud or carry out other renovation work within the local community. This is a satisfying placement, which lets you witness firsthand the impact you’ve made before and after. Volunteers should possess the following qualities for this placement: -Active and energetic -Team player -Likes to get hands dirty (And doesn’t mind the heat or difficult conditions!) -Creative -Patience and understanding to adapt to the Balinese culture and lifestyle Work alongside a team of volunteers supporting villages around Ubud or Lombok by building and renovating community centers such as village schools, playgrounds, and public libraries.
