Join IVHQ in Greece on the Homeless Support project. Do you want to play a role in helping those without a home, the support they need to get back on their feet? The Homeless Support project is a unique opportunity to get involved and do just that! Work with local non-profit organizations that help provide aid to homeless people in Athens. As a volunteer in Greece, you’ll help NGOs provide basic services to vulnerable people, such as food, water, clothing, and help with legal documentation. If you’re someone who wants to work hard and support someone in need, as well as have a rewarding experience, then this is a great project for you!
Program Highlights
Programs are available year-round in Greece at an affordable price of US$575 for 1 week
The IVHQ Greece program begins on the first and third Monday of every month. You can choose to volunteer for durations ranging from 1 week to 12 weeks.
The Greece volunteer program is based in Athens, Greece and accommodation is in a sustainable hostel located centrally.
Greece program fees include 24/7 in-country support, airport pick-up, program orientation, volunteer placement, accommodation, meals.
Volunteers can fill their free time visiting the many historical sites, beautiful beaches, dining on incredible food or even taking a day trip one of the many surrounding islands!

Amazing experience!

The support from staff provided clear expectations and helpful info. They were available daily if needed. It was great to help out and yet have time to experience the culture of the island. I will definitely be signing up for another project!
