Program Overview
Join the Animal Care program in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica with International Volunteer HQ and help support animal welfare while experiencing coastal life and rainforest surroundings. Volunteers assist at shelters and rescue centres caring for dogs, cats, and other animals from under-resourced communities. You’ll help with daily feeding, cleaning, basic care tasks, socialisation and enrichment for animals in need.
