Volunteers in this project support the protection and welfare of Asian elephants in Nepal. You will assist at elephant centres or in nearby natural habitats as teams work to improve living conditions and monitor elephant health and behaviour. Program Highlights

Program placements start on the first and third Monday of every month. Duration from 1 to 12 weeks

Work at an elephant sanctuary near Chitwan National Park caring for rescued, neglected, injured or elderly elephants

Volunteer up to 5 hours a day, helping with tasks such as cleaning barns and grounds, preparing food, maintaining habitats, and assisting with general building or upkeep projects on site

Volunteers work alongside local caretakers and veterinarians to support the wellbeing of elephants rescued from harmful or exploitative situations including tourism rides or logging

A meaningful opportunity to support ethical wildlife conservation, improve the lives of elephants in need and contribute to broader biodiversity protection efforts in Nepal
