The Master of International Relations and Diplomacy (MIRD) prepares students for leadership roles in the private sector, diplomatic services, and international organizations. Located in Geneva, the program takes advantage of the city’s unique status as the global capital of multilateral diplomacy, home to key institutions such as the United Nations, WTO, WHO, ICRC, WEF, and many others. Students gain extensive networking opportunities with professionals from these organizations. 

The program comprises 10 courses covering global diplomacy, international law, peace, security, and development. Faculty members are mostly professionals from UN agencies and international organizations, providing students with a practical and hands-on learning experience. 

The MIRD offers students the option to graduate with dual degrees, awarded by both the International Institute in Geneva and the University of Plymouth (UK). This dual-degree opportunity strengthens graduates' qualifications and career prospects in international relations, diplomacy, and global governance, opening doors to roles in international organizations, the private sector, and diplomatic missions.
