Psychology Internships in Spain | Intern Abroad HQ

I enjoyed interacting with others interns who were also part of the internship programs in Spain. I also enjoyed working with the kids at my placement and learning skills with the help of my supervisor. The support received from Intern Abroad HQ was very detailed.

I enjoyed exploring the culture in Spain the most. The internship helped me understand teenagers more, understand what they go through, see life from their perspective and see what we can do to help them. All was really good, everything was detailed. My host family was amazing, made me feel like part of their family and made the stay in Spain so much easier.

I enjoyed learning about the Spanish culture by visiting historical places and trying new foods. I also loved meeting new people from different parts of the world that were also in Valencia to learn Spanish or partake in an internship. My internship helped me better understand what it was like to work with individuals who fall under the neurodivergent spectrum and helped me further solidify my desire to pursue my future career aspects. Intern HQ provided me with knowledge to prepare me for living in a new environment and gave me everything I needed to thrive in my internship. They were very thorough on what was expected of me by my host, the culture, and my internship. My host was very welcoming and patient with the language barrier between us. She provided me with everything I needed and more. She respected my privacy when I needed it and communicated things clearly with me.
