Professionally, the internship gave me valuable insight

What I enjoyed most about this internship was the opportunity to meet and work alongside people from diverse backgrounds, which enriched my understanding of different cultures and perspectives. The experience of adapting to a new environment and collaborating with others helped me build confidence, improve my communication skills, and develop cultural competence. Professionally, the internship gave me valuable insight into how organisations operate and the importance of teamwork and flexibility. Personally, it pushed me outside my comfort zone, fostering resilience and a more open-minded approach—qualities that will benefit me throughout my career and life.

The internship was a transformative experience

What I enjoyed most about the internship was the opportunity to immerse myself in real-world legal work, particularly being involved in case strategy discussions where I observed how senior attorneys analyze complex issues and develop strategies. The hands-on experience allowed me to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting, strengthening my research, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professionally, the internship improved my ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure, while personally, it boosted my confidence and gave me valuable mentorship. I also learned how to navigate the professional dynamics of a law firm, understanding the importance of teamwork and adaptability. Overall, the internship was a transformative experience that deepened my legal knowledge, reinforced the value of building relationships, and strengthened my commitment to pursuing a career in law.

I am glad I did it!

I enjoyed meeting people through my orientation and going abroad while having a place to stay be provided for me. It was interesting to see the Spanish legal system and learn how legal proceedings work in a different country. It also gave me a perspective/worldview I wouldn’t have had if I didn’t do it, so I am glad I did it!
