IGS works with community news and entertainment stations to arrange television and multimedia internships for participants who are at least 18 years old. These placements allow interns to gain hands-on experience in the news and entertainment industry while working closely with leading producers and on-air talent. 

We have both on-air and behind-the-scene positions that will maximize your talents and add to your résumé. Job duties include, but aren’t limited to:
Backstory research
Storyboard creation
In-station/field filming
Marketing

We also offer multimedia opportunities. Some experience in film or editing is helpful for these placements, but we work with stations that will help develop your skills along the way. As a multimedia intern, you’ll have the chance to learn production techniques using the latest editing software and methods.
