Business Internship (Human Resources)
Program Overview
Human Resources (HR) is one of the spokes that keep the corporate wheel spinning. Have the opportunity to gain real work experience in this field with an internship abroad.
IGS internships in most fields do not result in job offers. However, you have a good chance of getting hired if you can show your mettle within the human resource field.
Working in HR stresses leadership, cohesion, and loyalty with the belief that everyone play important roles in organizational success. In simple terms, an organization’s human resource management strategy should maximize a return on investment in human capital and minimize financial risk.
As an HR intern, your duties will mostly be related to the following:
Research local/federal laws
Benefit management
Employee retention
Morale building
Social media outreach
Workplace safety
