Education is a fundamental human right, yet factors like poverty deprive millions of children of this right. In Portugal, many kids lack the necessary support to continue their education and reach their full potential. As a Youth Support volunteer, you work with children and teens (between 6 and 15 years old) after school or care for toddlers or babies while their parents study or work. Your goal is to be a positive role model, inspiring and encouraging them to think about their future, set goals, and achieve them!

What to Expect:
Positive Role Model: Spend time with children, helping them envision and pursue their dreams.
Educational Support: Assist with homework and teach English in an informal setting.
Activity Design: Create and implement new extracurricular activities and teach new sports; it’s up to you!

Daily Tasks:
Teaching English: Help kids learn English through fun and informal methods.
Games and Activities
Supervision and Interaction with the Kids
Homework Assistance
Skill Teaching: Share your talents.
Summer Camp Support: Our partner organizations host summer camps for the kids, from June to August, and they always need extra help!
