Planning to retire in Mexico? Iguana Abroad’s Retiring in Mexico: Spanish Immersion Course gives you the chance to experience everyday life in Mexico while developing the Spanish skills you’ll need for your new life here. Based in Cuernavaca, the “City of Eternal Spring,” the program combines Spanish classes with cultural experiences designed to help you connect with Mexican life and feel more confident communicating in Spanish.
During your stay, you can participate in traditional Mexican cooking classes, work with Mexican artisans and explore the historic towns of Tepoztlán and Malinalco. Before you arrive, we’ll discuss your Spanish level, interests and retirement plans so we can tailor the experience to you.
