Designed to take you inside Italian cinema, our Film & Media Studies Program makes Rome the set of your study abroad adventure. It’s here you will connect your passion to your studies while enrolling in courses that allow you to create your own documentary, explore the ethics of storytelling, and more. An Italian language course rounds out your film studies focus. You also have the opportunity to take Italian- or English-taught courses in the Humanities, Religious Studies, and Social Sciences at the prestigious Università degli Studi Roma Tre, the second largest university in Rome. Studying abroad with IES Rome made so many of my dreams come true. I never regretted any opportunity I took advantage of: from taking classes outside my major to travelling to new cities. IES Abroad offered all kinds of support from start to finish, and I would participate in their program again if I had the chance.

I’ve had the greatest time studying abroad. I not only met so many fantastic people with whom I’m still in contact with, but I also made the memories of a lifetime. On weekends I traveled to surrounding countries as well as participated in IES- sanctioned events such as field trips and day trips. I wish everyone could gain the opportunities as well as experiences that I have from studying abroad with IES. So thankful !!!
