IES Abroad's Berlin Winter Quarter - Business, Sustainability & Innovation program takes place from early January to mid-March. It takes full advantage of the city’s entrepreneurial spirit and Germany's position as an economic powerhouse and global leader in sustainability. The English-taught courses in topics such as Business Ethics, Marketing, and Global Business are viewed through the lens of Berlin and Germany, using local startups and corporations as case studies. You’ll learn firsthand the significant challenges involved in balancing financial success with sustainability. You can also supplement your Business studies with courses that deepen your understanding of European and German politics, economics, and culture.

The city will be your classroom. Imagine studying Global Business and then taking a trip to BMW's manufacturing plant in Munich. Or learning about Business Ethics and then attending a talk at the Potsdam Institute of Climate Research. All of your classes will include course-related trips that take you into the real world with visits to startups, businesses, and organizations.
