Summer Course Fashion Marketing - IED Milan

This summer course provides an overview of the key features of marketing, management, and merchandising in the retail fashion industry, with an emphasis on the Italian experience. For three weeks, you’ll learn about the importance of fashion brand building and marketing, and explore specific aspects such as customer relationship management.

This is a seminar-based course featuring industry professionals who share their experience, helping you stay in touch with current thinking and the latest developments. It also covers traditional methodologies and techniques in depth, which are complemented by visits to showrooms and retail spaces.

Together with your classmates, you’ll complete personal projects on-site in different areas of Milan to prepare for your final project and presentation. This course will help you understand the creative process for achieving specific project objectives and developing a communication strategy according to the set goals and budget.

Taught in English and starting each June, this course is aimed at students or professionals from other fields interested in fashion marketing. Applicants need to show strong motivation and the ability to work in groups.
