Program Overview
The EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles promotes sustainable fashion. The MA in Fashion Design. Circular Practices examines the fashion system, from resources to community sharing, to cut overproduction and overconsumption. It aligns with DesignXCommons' vision of design, commons, and planetary regeneration. Degree: Diploma Accademico di Secondo Livello, equivalent to an MA (EQF7). Credits: 120 CFA, equal to 120 ECTS.
This course focuses on responsible, sustainable fashion by developing project design skills for creating collections with an emphasis on circularity, ecodesign, and product longevity. It incorporates EU regulations on the circular textile strategy and promotes inclusion and innovation. The interdisciplinary approach aims to create sustainable, zero-waste projects that address ethical and social implications in the fashion industry.
