Arts Management - Summer Course

This course offers a stimulating introduction to art management, combining key art and cultural debates, project management fundamentals, institutional analysis, and on-site visits with a final hands-on event design workshop. Students gain direct exposure to both established and experimental models of cultural and art management while developing essential skills such as project writing, budgeting, and communication.

Built around a learning-by-doing methodology, the course encourages active, dialogue-based participation and collaborative learning. Class activities are closely connected to visits to public and private institutions, allowing students to observe real-world management approaches across diverse cultural organizations.

The program is structured into four integrated areas: an introduction to major artistic and cultural debates; technical and project management training; in-depth institutional visits; and a final workshop guiding students in designing an original event proposal.
