approved refund never delivered I paid my course at ICOT in November 2025. In January 2026 I notified the school I could not take the second course due to medical reasons and submitted the corresponding medical certificates. ICOT replied in writing confirming the cancellation and a refund to be processed in February 2026. In February they wrote saying the refund was delayed and would be processed in March. March came and they stopped replying. Since then — more than three months — I have not received the refund nor a single reply to my emails, neither at the school’s general address nor at my personal contact there. On top of that, during the course I was moved to a different class without explanation after an issue with a teacher, despite asking the reason multiple times. ICOT’s own refund policy states a 4-week processing time for approved refunds — I’ve been waiting months for one they themselves confirmed in writing. I have submitted the request through their official portal and a formal written complaint. Given the total silence, I am escalating to the ILEP Unit at the Irish Department of Justice, QQI / TrustEd Ireland, the CCPC, and a chargeback dispute with my issuing bank in Panama. Posting this to warn future international students: get everything in writing from day one, because once ICOT acknowledges owing you money, they simply stop replying.
