Hope Warriors Children's Charity (HWCC) was established to care for orphaned and vulnerable children and youth in the community of Soshanguve, North of Pretoria. HWCC believes that ‘Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world’, and thus provides inspiration and support for the children and youth to attain a good education, as a sure passport out of poverty. Our Key Programmes Include: After-School Academic & learner welfare support – After-school programmes are structured to support both academic and personal development. Below are the activities we provide at HWCC: Homework Assistance – Providing help with daily assignments. Tutoring Sessions – Focused learning support in subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English, for concepts mastery. Reading Clubs – Encouraging literacy and comprehension skills. STEM Activities (Future Skills) – Hands-on experiments and coding lessons to boost interest in science and technology (Still to be implemented). Feeding programme - meals and food packs for the children, including meals when they come to the Centres for learning. Girls Empowerment – providing dignity packs, leadership workshops, and economic empowerment initiatives for adolescent girls at risk. Youth Empowerment & Skills Development – providing career guidance, digital literacy, entrepreneurship training, and mentorship to equip youth with practical skills for employment and self-reliance.
