Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Exchange Program
Program Overview
The HUFS Exchange Program offers international students the chance to immerse themselves in Korea’s top-ranked global university while earning credits toward their degree. It promotes cultural diversity and academic excellence, thanks to collaboration with prestigious universities worldwide.
Students from partner universities can spend a semester or an academic year at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, choosing from diverse courses taught in both Korean and English. They experience life in Korea and develop a global perspective, benefiting from HUFS’ internationally recognized faculty and state-of-the-art facilities.
Exchange students remain enrolled and pay tuition fees at their home institutions. They earn transferable credits at HUFS, depending on agreements with their universities.
Program eligibility includes completing at least one semester at their home university at the time of participation; a GPA of 2.5 or higher; and proof of English language proficiency for non-native speakers. Students interested in taking Korean-taught courses need to submit proof of language proficiency.
