NEW Under 18’s Spring Break Costa Rica Community Development

The two weeks I spent volunteering with GVI in Costa Rica were some of the most enjoyable in my life. They made me appreciate all the things I have and I felt like I had such an impact on the community. The best part is the interaction that you have with the children of the community. They are all so willing to help you and it demonstrates how much the work GVI do for them is appreciated. The staff are all so helpful and approachable. They made the whole experience 10 times better. I would definitely recommend this program for anyone looking to make in impact as well as having fun at the same time!!

The staff were incredibly friendly but were serious during activities, which allowed for entertainment throughout the activities, though sometimes it felt we were not given the details soon enough.

I have enjoyed being a part of such an amazing experience in such a welcoming and beautiful country. When doing community work in Cocal, I enjoyed every part of it including the people in the community, the work we did, the location and the food. The staff who accompanied us on the trip were so much fun, always making sure we had a good time. I always felt comfortable and enjoyed every day. I would definitely redo this experience !
