Join our off-grid dog sanctuary in Dominica, home to 20 affectionate rescue dogs, and make a real difference in their lives. As an animal care worker, you’ll provide daily walks, feeding, grooming, and companionship—becoming a trusted guardian and friend. You'll also learn essential skills in canine health and wellness from an experienced Vet Tech, including administering medications, injections, and natural treatments for common illnesses.

In addition to hands-on medical care and behavioral training, you'll support the sanctuary's maintenance by cooking meals for the dogs, cleaning their living spaces, and participating in small-scale farming to grow nutritious food for both the animals and staff. This is a unique opportunity to live in a private jungle cottage, surrounded by nature, while gaining practical experience in animal rehabilitation and sustainable living.
