Trek endangered mountain gorillas deep inside Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park during a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter.
Explore Uganda’s top safari destinations including Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest, Lake Mburo and Lake Bunyonyi.

Do I need previous safari or hiking experience to join this program?

No previous safari experience is required. The trip is designed for students, solo travellers, and first-time visitors to Africa. Gorilla trekking can be physically demanding at times, but guides adjust the pace according to participants’ fitness levels.

Is gorilla trekking included in the program cost?

Yes. The gorilla trekking permit is included in the package price, along with chimpanzee tracking, park entrance fees, accommodation, transportation, and most activities listed in the itinerary.

Is Uganda safe for international students and solo travellers?

Yes. Uganda is one of the most welcoming destinations in East Africa, and thousands of international travellers visit each year for safaris and primate experiences. Gorilla Safari Consultants provides experienced guides, organized transportation, and full support throughout the journey.

What type of accommodation should I expect?

Participants stay in comfortable safari lodges, guesthouses, eco-lodges, and tented camps depending on the location. The accommodations are selected to provide a balance of comfort, adventure, safety, and authentic local atmosphere.

What should I pack for the safari?

We recommend comfortable hiking shoes, lightweight clothing, a rain jacket, insect repellent, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and a camera. A detailed packing list is provided before arrival.
