They can then choose their second project placement. Volunteers can choose to assist in a women's shelter, a senior home, an animal rescue center, a community construction program, or at a secondary teaching program in a village. No matter the placement, each volunteer can contribute to the community of Goa in a large way. The people who ran the programme in Goa were very polite and welcoming and friendly. Working with the children was fantastic. GoEco have been very supportive and I’ve really enjoyed the whole experience very much.
Great experience
by: Simone LangProgram: India - Teaching and Community Work in GoaIi most enjoyed going into the baby baboon enclosure in the afternoon. some afternoons the baboons were so calm after being served their vegetation and playing around. the baboons would come to the volunteers, sit on their laps and either groom you or enjoy being groomed you.
