This program consists of many community-based related projects around San Jose. Participants can select from working in a small rural farm community, teaching English in Cabuya, Montezuma and Matapolo or working with young people and students on an education & environmental program. The Rural Farming project is located in an area called Agro-Zapotal. In this institution, participants will be encouraged to assist & develop various activities in the community. Activities will range from teaching English to working in green houses. The Environmental & Education project is based in Pochote. There is a public school which has 60 students, ages range from 6 to 14 years old. This is a unique community project in Costa Rica, recently launched, offering volunteers a special opportunity to be involved in music/culture/education/environment/community development activities in one place. There are two teaching programs. Teaching English Program in Cabuya and Montezuma located in the Pacific coast in Montezuma. There are two schools in the program: Montezuma School, and Cabuya School. Teaching English Program in Matapalo Elementary and High School program is the biggest school in the area.
