Travel to rural Cambodia to assist local schoolteachers and education staff in teaching community health education. This project aims to expand knowledge of health concerns and basic hygiene practices.
As a volunteer, prepare and lead class discussions, with topics ranging from proper hygiene to overall body care and health. Other tasks include providing hands-on training and participation in demonstrations of teeth brushing, hand washing, and related preventative measures.
A medical background is preferred for this program but not required because you take on tasks based on your pre-existing knowledge of these topics. You can participate no matter your training and education. But the more knowledgeable you are about the topics, the more you can contribute.
