Global Citizen-Focused Learning in Italy
World history jumps off the page and gets real as we visit the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps in Rome. Explore the Florence Cathedral (the Duomo) and see Michelangelo’s David. You'll breathe in the salt air of Cinque Terre and the beauty of the national park, deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We conclude our travels, winding our way through the canals of Venice. The GCAC program in Italy appeals to students ready to soak in the sights and learn what’s behind their picturesque appeal. It also includes the option of auditing or receiving transferable college credit for an online Global Service Learning & Citizenship course taught by a National Geographic Certified Educator. GCAC participants return home with both body and mind full of Italian delights.
