Do you love animals and want to help rescued street dogs or cats? Are you interested in observing veterinary work and participating in a shelter vet clinic? Would you like to educate others about animal vaccinations—such as rabies—and help prevent dogs from suffering from avoidable diseases? Do you want to go on daily walks with around 50 dogs, including some in wheelchairs?

Great—then this program is made for you!

Most volunteers join Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., leaving you plenty of free time to explore the beauty of Tanzania. Enjoy local cafés and restaurants, swim in hotel pools, go to the gym or join yoga sessions, take waterfall hikes, or go on a safari and encounter wild animals up close in the Serengeti!
