4 Weeks Summer Language Camp Counselor in Thailand

I was a camp counselor for summer of 2014. In general, it was the greatest adventure of my life. If you are considering this program, you must be willing to travel frequently throughout the country, be open to different and sometimes challenging situations, and have a real desire to impact the lives of all the Thai students you will meet. As teachers, we were always treated with the utmost respect. There is truly nothing in the world like Thai hospitality and generosity. It will also be completely different than anyone's vacation to Thailand, in that you are seeing how the locals really live and interacting with Thai people in a much more genuine way, one that no tourist would ever get to experience.

Do this program if you're dedicated to traveling and immersing yourself into the Thai culture. Because that is what you do. A lot of travel. And you see so many kids wanting to learn English. I became a camp counselor in Thailand to become more open and to grow more independent. I have grown tremendously from this experience. If you do this program, be sure you travel to Khao Yai and see the temple at Khao Kho.
