Founded in 1948, the ILCF welcomes 2,000 foreign students every year, from all over the world. Students come for one month to one year, individually or in a group, to learn French language and become acquainted with French culture and civilization in a university atmosphere.
The ILCF Paris is an Institute of the Catholic University of Paris (ICP) - a place of intellectual and research tradition in the historical heart of Paris, near the students' Latin Quarter, the existentialists' Saint-Germain-des-Prés (Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir) and the painters' Montparnasse (Modigliani, Chagall).
A team of qualified and experienced French language teachers, all specialists of FLE (French as a Foreign Language), teaching in a personalized way.
The Catholic University of Paris is an academic campus housing faculties and higher education schools of professional training in three areas: Literature, Languages and Social Sciences; Science and Engineering; Theology and Religious Sciences.
