The Web Development and Digital Solutions Internship at FIEN Foundation provides hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and improving digital solutions for partner elementary and middle schools in Morogoro Municipality, Tanzania. Interns will build secure, responsive, accessible, and user-friendly school websites and may develop web or mobile applications addressing education-related challenges.

Responsibilities include using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms, and related technologies; managing school news, events, announcements, calendars, and academic content; improving UX, accessibility, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and performance; integrating online forms, grade portals, SIS, databases, and other digital tools; maintaining security, backups, plugins, and software; troubleshooting technical issues; and providing basic technical support.

Interns will collaborate with FIEN staff, school administrators, teachers, and technology professionals, gaining practical skills in web and application development, UI/UX, databases, cybersecurity, SEO, testing, troubleshooting, and digital problem-solving while contributing to meaningful education technology solutions.
