Elective Africa’s PA Program is suited to meet requirements for electives, internships abroad, clinical preceptorship, and independent study abroad. It is crafted to ensure that you gain supervised hands-on experience, exposure to a different culture, and the development of relevant skills and clinical competence as a PA student.

The goal of the program is to expose participants to global healthcare and mold all-rounded healthcare professionals who are not hindered by the limitations of diagnostic services and treatment options.

Through our well-established mentorship structure, you will be guided by a dedicated healthcare professional(s) in further understanding the procedures and activities that you observe. These activities may include clerking patients, history taking, physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and others.

You also have the option to choose from various specialties such as Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pediatrics and Child Health, Internal Medicine, Accidents and Emergency, and Surgery.

Interns must be pre-med or medical students.
