Earth Education International is an experiential learning organization based in Costa Rica. We provide interdisciplinary courses and programs in sustainability, environmental studies, and social responsibility. We work in partnership with educational institutions around the globe and support and promote sustainable initiatives locally. We aim to empower individuals and communities to take action in their personal and collective lives in helping to contribute to a sustainable, equitable, and peaceful future. To achieve this goal, we provide high-quality personalized hands-on learning through extensive field study, volunteer service-learning work, and cultural immersion. WE offer a semester abroad program and a variety of courses in themes related to Sustainable Global Stewardship.

Although there are many educational experiences that you can have abroad, EEI's integration of language, culture, environmental stewardship, and science in a field study format is key to really understanding the whole. Not only did I have a fun experience, but the many things that we learned and did continue to shape me today.
