Study Abroad at Curtin University

My experience as an exchange student at Curtin University was incredibly positive, even though it was only for one semester. The GoGlobal staff was very welcoming and provided excellent guidance, especially at the beginning when everything was new, and we weren’t sure what to expect. I also appreciated the flexibility of being able to change an unit at the start of the semester if it didn’t suit us. For any questions or concerns, both the GoGlobal team and Curtin University staff were always available and incredibly helpful, which made navigating this new environment much easier. The study system and lectures were structured in a way that was very student-friendly and engaging. I'm from Germany, so it was fascinating to experience a different approach to education compared to the German system. I had the chance to form meaningful friendships with people from all over the world—connections that I truly cherish even now that I am back in Germany. Exploring Western Australia was another highlight of my time at Curtin. I visited cities, experienced the unique nature and weather, and went on unforgettable trips organized by the university. These trips offered an amazing opportunity to learn more about this beautiful country, and I also explored many places with my new friends. This exchange semester was not only an academic experience but also a personal journey. It helped me grow in many ways, and the memories I made will always stay with me. I sincerely hope to visit Australia again one day—it has left a lasting impression on me. I am deeply grateful for this memorable and enriching experience!

During my exchange at Curtin University, I learned a lot about Australia's vibrant and diverse culture, had the chance to explore the country's natural beauty, and made lifelong friends. The university offers an extensive range of interesting study programs and student support. The campus and the student accommodations are full of comfortable spaces that promote socialisation, and they became like a second home to me. The university offers various activities that help students socialise and create meaningful connections. This place and the people I met here will always have a special place in my heart.

My experience in Western Australia was incredible: I experienced personal growth beyond my comfort zone in a multicultural environment with open-minded Australians. I participated in numerous activities and discovered a practical and engaging approach to university education. The professors actively interacted with students, showing a genuine passion for their work. Despite being less known, Western Australia’s breathtaking landscapes and perfect surfing beaches left me with unforgettable memories. I highly recommend everyone to have a similar experience: it will truly change your life.
