Immerse yourself in the art of drawing, a foundational skill for any artist, as you build techniques in perspective, shading, composition, and observational sketching. In Rabat, ancient medinas (historic old-city neighborhoods), brilliant, sun-washed light, and Arab, Amazigh, and Andalusian influences inspire at every turn. Alongside fellow Global Navigators, you’ll build a standout portfolio while developing your unique artistic voice.

Discover the vibrant world of Moroccan art as you sketch still life in Rabat’s famous markets, study positive and negative space in Andalucian gardens, and use drawing as a tool to research traditional indigenous Amazigh jewelry. In the end, you’ll have your own portfolio of artwork that captures your growth and unique artistic style.

There’s plenty of time for travel! Head to Casablanca to visit the monumental Hassan II Mosque, perched atop a hill overlooking the Atlantic and famed for its intricate mosaics, carved cedar, soaring minaret, and breathtaking sacred design. Experience West African culture in a Congolese dance workshop, where a local artist shares his story as a migrant in Morocco. This incredible summer will broaden your perspective on art and culture, help you grow as a creative, and inspire new possibilities for your artistic path.
