Enhance your Medical Spanish in Ecuador!

Looking to improve your Spanish for healthcare settings while immersing yourself in Ecuadorian culture? Our Medical Spanish Program offers personalized, one-on-one instruction (20 hours weekly) designed to help you communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients. Open to all levels, this hands-on experience will strengthen your language skills while giving you a deep cultural understanding.

Who can join the Medical Spanish Program?

Anyone! This program is open to all levels—whether you’re a medical student, healthcare professional, or simply interested in medical Spanish, our one-on-one instruction will be tailored to your needs.

How is the Medical Spanish instruction structured?

You’ll receive 20 hours of private lessons per week, focusing on medical terminology, patient interactions, and real-life healthcare scenarios to help you communicate effectively in a Spanish-speaking medical setting.

What cultural activities and excursions are included?

In addition to your Spanish lessons, you'll enjoy Latin dance, cooking, and pottery classes, as well as weekend guided excursions to incredible sites like Cajas National Park, Ingapirca, and Cuenca’s historic center.

What is the homestay experience like?

You'll stay with a local Ecuadorian family, where you'll get three home-cooked meals per day, laundry service, and Wi-Fi—a perfect opportunity to practice Spanish in a natural setting and immerse yourself in the culture.
