Program Overview
The center for high-tech research and commerce in the French Alps makes for an ideal setting for internship opportunities. The CEA CAPA Internship abroad program in Grenoble is designed for students who want to gain a competitive edge in the global marketplace. Placements are available in numerous fields including business management, marketing, culinary arts, design, and hospitality. Your work schedule, which is determined after your arrival, varies depending on industry standards for your field.
Apart from the placement, you take a flipped classroom-style online academic course. This features one-hour, face-to-face coaching sessions per week during the internship and comes with a total of (around) 30-40 hours of self-directed content, assignments, and activities.
Eligibility:
- 1 year as a registered college student by the time of application
- 3-4 courses directly related to the internship field of interest or 6 weeks of full-time work in the field is encouraged
- Minimum GPA of 2.75
- All levels of French, although absolute beginners are discouraged
