Wouah! ?
by: Morgan CUVELIER - FranceProgram: Volunteer at a Wildlife Rescue in ColombiaI did a 1 week volunteer program in Cabildo Verde in Mai 2024. And that was one of my best memory of my trip in Latin America ?. Working with monkeys, parrots and jaguar everyday... What a dream! Danitza, Janelle and James took care of me and made me part of their family. I truly loved that!

by: Tai Alon - PortugalProgram: Volunteer at a Wildlife Rescue in ColombiaVolunteering with Cabildo Verde was truly life-changing! I joined reforestation, beach clean-ups, and environmental education projects, making a real impact while immersing myself in the local culture. The team was welcoming, and the stunning landscapes made every moment unforgettable. I left with great memories, new friendships, and a deeper passion for sustainability. Highly recommend!!!

Most amazing experience!
by: Christina Valdes - United StatesProgram: Volunteer at a Wildlife Rescue in ColombiaI volunteered at Cabildo Verde around 3 years ago and it was amazing. The reserve itself is so beautiful and the connection you can build with these wild animals is unparalleled. Cabildo Verde gives you the unique experience of being able to help and work with animals that are rescued from being trafficked illegally. Being able to be up close and work hands-on with them is really special if you're an animal lover like me. There is a lot of work to be done there in many different areas, so I really think there's something for everyone here, anything from building living structures to bottle feeding neonates. Not only is the work itself extremely fulfilling but you also build a special connection with the all the staff. They are so warm and welcoming and helpful, you really do leave feeling like you're a part of the family. I really felt well taken care of by everyone there from the moment that I signed up to arriving at the airport, to my last day, they really made the process very smooth and helped with any questions I had. I felt extremely safe there my entire stay at the reserve and also on trips out to the nearby town or other excursions they had planned. The living spaces were very clean, the food was good with healthy portion sizes. When I was there was no access to cell service or wifi which was actually a really nice opportunity to unplug, but if for any reason you need wifi they were always more than willing to take us into town to get wifi connection. There was also no hot water, but the weather was so hot that it really wasn't ever an issue for me. I would highly recommend Cabildo Verde to anyone interested in working with animals and conservation!
