This Master's program in Comparative International Relations is the product of a long-standing collaboration between the Department of Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies and the Department of Economics at Ca’ Foscari University. This is a unique opportunity in Italy to study international relations associated with languages and cultures. It immerses you in linguistic and cultural studies regarding Europe, Asia, and the Atlantic world—something Ca’ Foscari has done since its founding in 1868—and empowers you to explore, understand, and analyze international relations through juridical, economic, historical, and political lenses. By the end of the program, you will be able to communicate fluently in both English and a second language and elaborate coherent strategies to solve problems on an international scale. This program offers two curricula, or study paths, entirely taught in English, from which to choose between European Union Studies or Global Studies. This programme is ranked in the top 100 for Modern Languages and in the top 300 for Politics and International Studies in the QS Subject Rankings.
