One-Week Immersion in Sports Law and Football Management The Berlin Sports Law Summer School is a one-week, experience-based programme offering direct exposure to the professional world of the sports industry. CONCEPT A day in the life of… Each day is structured around the professional reality of a different sports industry role: Football Agent, Sports Lawyer, Club Manager, CAS Arbitrator and Sports Media Expert, followed by a networking event on Saturday. Engage directly with sports lawyers, club executives and industry practitioners through small-group sessions, practical discussions and behind-the-scenes insight into real decision-making processes. What you‘ll experience: Direct access to the football industry High-level networking in a short time Practical industry insights Clear career direction Ever wondered what it’s like to manage a top football club? Spend two full days at SL Benfica, exploring the professional environment of a leading European club through “A day in the life of a Club Manager” and additional sessions, with exclusive behind-the-scenes access to operations and key professionals.

What are the requirements for admission?

  • Age: 18+
  • English Proficiency: Minimum B2 level (as all sessions are in English)
  • Background: No prior legal experience required, but an interest in sports law or management is recommended

Is there a cut-off date for applications?

The final application deadline ends on 30 June 2026, but spots are limited!

What is the total cost of the program?

The Program Fee is €2.400, and includes:

✅ Lectures & practical workshops with top sports lawyers & executives
✅ Case studies & simulations (moot courts, contract negotiations, etc.)
✅ Exclusive site visits to key sports institutions
✅ Cultural & networking events
✅ Certificate of completion

Are accommodation and flights part of the package?

Accommodation is not included, but we will provide recommended hotel/hostel options close to the venue. Flights are not included, and participants must arrange their own travel to Lisbon.

Do participants need a visa to travel for the program?

EU/Schengen Zone Citizens – No visa required.

Non-EU Applicants – You may need a Schengen visa to enter Portugal. We recommend checking your country’s visa requirements. 

If you require a visa, we can provide an official invitation letter after you have completed your payment. However, obtaining a visa is the participant’s responsibility.
